So what About Bob (aka Mr. SOS)

A little ’bout me… I’m a lifelong resident of Northwest Indiana, or da’ Region. I’m a full time electrician, widower, and raising kids. I have always been an artist since I was able to hold a pencil ,pen crayon etc…created illustrations for the Valparaiso Popcorn fest for 16 years in a row …was art director for Indian Oak resort…did focus group art for Keebler in Chicago…did logos for businesses…drew a comic strip for about 5 years…taught cartooning at Chesterton art gallery for a bit…recently finished volunteering with a resident artist from Denmark named Thomas Dambo at Morton Arborateum in Lisle IL to create “TROLL HUNT”. Oh ya, I am currently illustrating a childrens book.

Art Class Meets Pop Art Party

Some Odd Sense Kids Art Classes aren’t exactly your normal art class. Think of our classes as more of a show me session. We teach kids that “Art has their back” by showing them that they can have control of their world, their emotions, and their self esteem through their creativity. Og course, we make sure they have a lot of fun doing it. SOS is a little edgy and a little more down-to-earth-denim; not like anything else out there. You may see kids sitting in bean bag chairs, throwing nerf balls, or even making art from recycled materials.
